  1. I used to ride a GSXR400RR back in the day when 400cc bikes used to be miniature 750cc supersports bikes with all the tasty bits. Nowadays a 400cc bike is just an overgrown 250cc bike. Sad.

The hollow parallel twin (half an engine) sound just ruins the racy looks.

  2. What a stupid Question DOH !!!!
    Can you cruise at 75 M.P.H ?
Well if the Bike goes to 120 M.P.H what do you think
What you should be asking is about Tyre Sizes , because even i am Confused , it's still a 4 inch rim on the back so i would go with a 140 set up , but not sure to be Honest.
Why have they mixed the Tyres up from 60 to 70 , why not keep them even , is it because the front shocks are longer on the 400 ?

  3. Nice review Zack, and sweet wheelie! The impromptu Hyundai 'race' was hilarious. I think the got was annoyed getting beat twice and had to run the light. You're in South O.C., my old stomping grounds. Ever visit Kawi on Jeronimo? 😉

I am NOT a fan of that parallel twin sound either. Sounds so anemic. But, I kinda want a Ninja 400 as a backup/commuter/canyon bike from my main (Triumph 675R). 😀 I love the small-bore sporties and am glad to see this market flourishing.

    However, I'd really like to see a small-bore triple! Maybe a Daytona 375R? 😀

  4. Love your ride to work tests….entertaining and very real-world informational. However, all you guys are too tall! I'm 5'5" and you and Ari just don't have the same challenges I have. Hire a short guy…or lady! 🙂

  5. You are absolutely right,Sir! That's something that I m trying to explain to my friends every time we have conversations on bike subject. The fact that a medium cc you can open it and have so much fun … Anyhow, you do understand what am I trying to say here. Have fun an keep it up !

  6. I can't figure out why we don't see the new Ninja 650 tested. There are a lot of videos on the 400 but not really the 650. Is there a reason for that? is the 650 not a good bike? just wondering.
